Lindsay begins to wake up she sees who kidnapped her it was the guy she helped put away for her friend's murder's.Well good morning sunshine he said you better be a god little girl he says to her as he is taking off the cloth that he was using to gag her you better not scream or say a word or I will kill you like I did your little friends what do you want from me she asked I just wanted to pay a visit to the one who put me away and all so to make you pay for all my troubles he tells her I lost every thing my house,job,my wife and kids he yells at her how do you think my friends family's feel she yells back you took my friend's away from there family's they didn't get to have there own family's either he turns around and hit's Lindsay and yells shut up and goes into the other room.He comes back in the room Lindsay is in and grab's her cell phone and see's who is calling it was Danny.Back at the lab Danny has been calling Lindsay's phone come on baby girl if you can answer your phone please he get's her voice mail again s*** hey no answer Stella ask no luck oh god

She was struggling to get a way from who ever it was who grab her then she passed out not realizing it was Daniel Cadens the guy she help put away for her friends murders.Danny called Lindsay's phone again and he got her voice mail him and Sheldon where heading back to the lab to finish up there shifts still no answer Hawks asked no Danny tells him she must be really pissed at you Messer Sheldon said laughing very funny very funny not a time to joke I don't know why she is not answering her phone she all ways does.Back at the grocery store a bunch of teenagers find Lindsay's car with the keys still in the lock hey look at what I found one of them says to there friends lets take it for a ride another one says
OK they all get into the car and go speeding off then a few minutes after they get pulled over for speeding the officer ask the kid who was driving Lindsay's car for her licence I don't have one officer so who's car is it I don't know she tells him so you stole it no not really it had the key's in the lock so it is still stealing he tells them even if the key's are in the lock he stay right here he goes and runs the licence plate number it comes back to Lindsay Monroe he goes back and radios for back up and calls Don Flack hey Don it's Tanner I just pulled a bunch of kids over in Officer Monroe's car the group of kid's said they found the car in the grocery store parking lot with the key's in it thank's for letting me know Don this don't feel good at all I know have to go thanks for calling me he hangs up and rushes to go and tells Mac.Mac and Stella are in Mac's office so are Danny and Sheldon who are getting ready to leave hey thank goodness you are all here I just got a call from Officer Tanner he just pulled over a bunch of kid's in Lindsay's car

What Stella said you sure it was Lindsay's car yes he ran the plates Danny where is Lindsay Don they don't know they are possessing Lindsay's car and are at the grocery store processing where the group of kids found her car he tells them Danny was about to head out the door where are you going Messer Mac yelled I am going to help look for her he said no you are not get back here Danny you can help by staying here and letting the police and the other team of csi's do there job Danny we need to hang in here and staying calm Mac tells him OK OK he sits down on Mac's couch so what do they think it is he ask Don they don't know if it was a kidnapping or what what do you mean what that Lindsay walked away from her car her life what please tell me Flack Danny chill out they honistly don't know sorry man I am just I know we are all up set Danny Stella puts her arm around his shoulder but we need to hang in here like Mac said I know Stella but there is one thing I never got to say to her.................

It was a few days after Stella's apartment was on fire and Lindsay and Danny had there argument when Lindsay goes over to Danny's apartment to see if he wants to go out to breakfast before they start there shift for the day she knocks on the door and Rikki in Danny's shirt opens the door shocked to see Rikki there she ask her if Danny is there Rikki tells her no he went to the store to get eggs and coffee if she wants to come in and wait for him uh no she tells her I am going to go she tells Rikki do you want me to tell him you where here um no thats all right she tells her and she heads to the lab.As soon as she gets there she is meant by Stella hey you all right she ask her she note's Lindsay has been crying I am OK she lies and tells her no your not you been crying no I am all right it's my allergies acting up she sniffs yea right were going to talk later about this so lets get to work she tells Stella.Back at Danny's apartment Danny gets back from the store hea where you going he ask as he sees Rikki dressed and getting ready to leave I am going Danny I can't do this any more me you sinking around doing you know what what do you mean your girlfriend Lindsay came by I just can't do it any more she tells him she leaves.Danny head's out to work as soon as Rikki leaves.As soon as Danny steps off the elevator he is meant by Sheldon Hawks lets go we have a db at Grand Central Station he tells him OK Danny turns around and they head over to Grand Central Station when they are on the elevator he ask Hawks if he seen Lindsay yes for a few moments before her Stella went to there crime scene did she seem upset to you I don't know really why should she be never mind I was just wondering Danny it is me you are talking too not some criminal you caught here nothing never mind the elevator door opens and Danny rushes off before Hawks could ask more questions they get to there crime scene and begin possessing it.Back at the lab Stella and Lindsay are finishing up possessing there evidence so Lindsay do go to lunch after we are finish yea sure she tells Stella because I figured if we go to lunch you can tell me what is bothering you and trust me I know it is not allergies
wow you know me to well she tells Stella I know she said to Lindsay they finish up and head to lunch.Danny and Hawks are at the lab and they meet up with Mac to finish possessing there evidence hey Mac did you see Lindsay yet yes I saw her a few seconds ago with Stella they went to lunch are they coming back yes why Danny I just need to talk to Lindsay about some thing thats all he tells Mac if I see her I'll tell her you where looking for her he tells him alright then um our fingerprints on our Vic came back to one Weston Sullivan OK then lets go pick him up they head out to go pick up there suspect.Lindsay and Stella are sitting at the restaurant they chose for lunch Lindsay do you care to tell me whats wrong you hardly touched any of your food Lindsay takes a deep breath and begins to tell Stella about who she saw at Danny apartment I went to Danny's apartment Stella and Rikki Sandoval was there in Danny's apartment I think he has been seeing her Lindsay don't jump to conclusions you know how close he is to Stella she had one of his shirts on and nothing else on oh said Stella how can Danny do this to me I loved him I just told him how I felt and he goes and does this have you talked to him yet about it Stella asked no she tells her well you have to talk to him I know he loves you Lindsay he told me and if he has half a brain then he would realize what he is going to give up she tells her OK I will talk to him Stel but not right now later we are still working they finish there lunch and they head back to the lab.At the lab Sheldon and Danny are in the locker room well Sheldon begins to well what Danny says well what is going on with you nothing is going on with me you been asking every one if they saw Lindsay as it was important Danny he saids is every thing all right Danny sits down and starts to cry I might of did some thing that I might lose Lindsay over and that is what Sheldon ask I slept with Rikki Sheldon out of guilt that is why I need to talk to Lindsay man what are you stupid how could you do this to Lindsay Sheldon ask I don't know it just happen nothing just happens Danny you need to talk to her and tell Lindsay how you feel you don't feel anything for Rikki do you no I don't have feelings for Rikki I have feelings for Lindsay Sheldon and I hurt her I know I did I just hope she can forgive me and if she don't Sheldon ask him I wont blame her one bit she has the right to hate me he tells Sheldon so why don't you go see if she is here then OK Danny goes back up to the lab he enters the office Danny sees Stella and Mac hey have you two seen Lindsay yes she was just here Mac tells him she just left for the day oh OK he go to the elevator and calls Lindsay on her cell phone he get gets her voice mail hey you reached Lindsay Monroe I'm unable to answer my phone right now leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can hey Lindsay it is Danny call me as soon as you get this message OK he hangs up and heads over to his crime scene.Lindsay was heading home she stoped at the grocrey store to get a few things she was heading back to her car when some one grab her from behind...........con't on page 2

Background

Danny grew up on Staten Island, in a family "under surveillance" (as hinted at in the episode "Tanglewood"). As a result, he formed his own set of hybrid ethics, caught between the world of lawbreakers and lawmakers. Though very little is known about the Messer family, Danny openly admits that he has had a very rocky relationship with his older brother, Louie, since a fateful night in 1991. After promising to take Danny to Atlantic City with some of his friends, they stopped off at Giants stadium where he and two others began to severely beat a drug dealer, telling him it was an initiation into the Tanglewood Boys gang. When Danny protested, Louie called him a disgrace and told him to leave (episode 220, "Run Silent, Run Deep"). Despite the strained relationship that resulted, Danny would later come to lend money to Louie on more than one occasion. (episode 211, "Trapped").
While Danny and his older brother grew apart in their teenage years, it can be said that they were close as children, since Danny fondly recalls rowing in the bay with his brother in their grandfathers boat to dive for bottles, (episode 402, "The Deep") But this memory too, fond as it is to Danny, remarks on his relationship with his mother as he goes on to say that on one occasion their boat drifted into the harbor, and they were taken home by the coast guard much to the dismay of their mother who, in turn, didn't speak much to her youngest son for a week thereafter.
After graduating first in his class at the NYPD police academy, (episode 122, "The Closer"), CSI team leader Mac Taylor personally selected Danny to join his team, an honor and a responsibility that he attempts to live up to each day.
As the resident playboy, Danny is seen as having commitment issues and does not subscribe to common ideals of marriage and love; once telling Mac to not even make jokes about it (episode 115, "Til Death Do We Part"). However, he has since only shown one sign of growing out of his commitment-phobic ways (i.e.; joking about marrying Lindsay Monroe after she displayed a knowledge of football (episode 219, "Supermen")).
"Danny Messer" is possibly a play on "Darin Mazzarella" a Tanglewood boy, turned informant.

Outside the Lab

Danny is apparently in his early 30's; reference has been made about his 30th birthday (episode 208, "Bad Beat"). Danny attended college and played minor league baseball until he got into a fight and broke his wrist. He is a very good handball player, once using his skills to acquire evidence (episode 216, "Cool Hunter"). He suffers mildly from bathophobia, ( fear of depths) though he refuses to admit it, becoming nervous and irritable when underground great distances, (episode 105, "A Man a Mile") as well as possibly from claustrophobia since his experience being trapped in a panic room. (episode 211, "Trapped"). He frequently makes film references, which suggests he is a movie buff.

On the Job

Danny has displayed a tendency to follow his intuition when solving a case, rather than relying on the evidence, for which Mac has reprimanded him (episode 105, "A Man a Mile"). Danny is a very suspicious person; though he gets along well with the rest of the CSI team, Detective Don Flack is one of the few people he truly confides in.
Almost a year after a case that involved the Tanglewood Boys gang (episode 113, "Tanglewood"), Danny is implicated in a 15-year-old cold murder case. Louie is severely beaten by the gang and left in a coma after attempting to prove Danny's innocence. With Mac's help, Danny eventually clears his name, thanks to a taped confession from the real killer (episode 220, "Run Silent, Run Deep"). Louie's condition is still unknown, though it is widely presumed that he is still comatose.
Danny is particularly sensitive when it comes to suspects who act out on the loss of a loved one. In episode 304, "Hung Out To Dry," Danny tells murder suspect Shane Casey that he understands Shane's desire to clear his brother, Ian's, name, but does not agree with Shane's methods. Danny's words come back to haunt him later when, during the events of "Raising Shane" (episode 311), Shane tries to exploit Danny's sympathy for his situation, as well as Danny's concern for Louie, to get Danny at gunpoint to process the since-abandoned crime scene to obtain evidence that would prove Ian's innocence. To Shane's despair, the CSI brings evidence with him that proves Ian's guilt, and the police take Shane into custody without incident.
During "On The Job" (episode 121), Danny's relationship with Mac becomes strained when, during a critical case, Danny fires his weapon blindly, which supposedly leads to the death of a police officer. Ultimately, it is determined that someone else actually fired the fatal shot. Nevertheless, Danny is taken off the promotional grid after talking to Internal Affairs when specifically told to wait. The mistrust fades by the end of Season 2, when Mac talks to him outside the hospital after the events that leave Danny's brother Louie comatose (episode 220, "Run Silent, Run Deep"). Danny is annoyed when he discovers he is evidently the last to learn about the romantic relationship between Mac and medical examiner Peyton Driscoll, especially that "even Flack" knew about it before he did (episode 316, "Heart of Glass").
Danny takes it upon himself to trade shifts with Lindsay Monroe in episode 324, "Snow Day," taking her place to assist lab tech Adam Ross at a warehouse crime scene. When he arrives, he is taken hostage and held, along with Adam, by Irish mobsters who hope to use the situation to distract the NYPD while others of their clan break into the lab to retrieve a huge cocaine seizure from previously in the day. Danny is badly beaten during his captivity (taking a total of 4 blows to the head, one to the spine and having his left hand broken), but, with Adam's help, manages to take down their captors in time to be rescued by the officers gathered outside. He is forced to walk out of the warehouse by Lindsay instead of waiting for EMS, which Flack had suggested.

Relationships

Danny is generally seen as a bit of a playboy. Seemingly aware of his good looks and charm his serial womanizing is alluded to in episodes such as Season 1 episode 13 when Aiden assumes Danny has visited a so called rub-and-tug kind of massage parlor he replies "You kidding me? I got girlfriends for that, why would I pay?" Earlier in season 1 episode 4, Stella catches Danny leering suggestively at the waitresses in a trendy Japanese restaurant in which food is served off the bodies of nude serving women. When Stella comments about the sanitation of this kind of dining Danny replies "Who cares if it's sanitary? I wanna see the menu."

Aiden Burn

In Season 1, Danny and fellow CSI Aiden Burn were shown to have a very close relationship as friends who routinely flirt with one another. In season 1 episode 19; Danny and Aiden work a case during which he catches Aiden behaving flirtatiously towards officer Lily, the first office on the scene. After putting an abrupt stop to their flirtation they return to work and later he teases her about this indicating his possible jealousy. In the late Season 2 episode "Heroes" (episode 223), Aiden, who had been fired from the crime lab earlier in the season, is found brutally murdered. Danny is, by far, the most shaken member of the team and lashes out at a man brought in for questioning for Aiden's death. When he begs Mac to let him interrogate the man, Mac refuses, knowing Danny is likely to become violent out of grief. After catching Aiden's killer, a rapist named D.J. Pratt, who Aiden had been intent on bringing to justice, Danny and the rest of the team meet at a local pub and toast their lost friend and colleague while reminiscing about her, content that they have fulfilled a promise to put Pratt behind bars for his crimes.

Don Flack

Danny maintains a strong friendship with Donald Flack, Jr., better known as Don Flack. The passionate and quick tempered CSI confides in and commiserates with the more level-headed detective when facing turmoil, such as when Danny is suspecting of accidentally killing an undercover officer, and later when Mac is under fire for the death of Clay Dobson (episodes 121, "On the Job;" 323, "...Comes Around"). It is also assumed that Danny and Flack spend some of their downtime together as friends, in the very first episode Season 1, episode 1 Danny is exiting an interrogation room and casually says to Don "Hoops on Saturday, Flack. Don't forget."

Cindy

Danny had a girlfriend named Cindy, who once called him at work, ("Trapped", 211) but it is assumed that she is just one of a number of come-and-go women in his life.

Lindsay Monroe

Danny is initially less-than-friendly towards Lindsay Monroe, the detective brought in from Bozeman, Montana, at Mac's request to fill the gap in the roster left by Aiden's dismissal. On her first day, Danny tricks Lindsay into calling Mac "sir," a title that Mac has always hated (episode 203, "Zoo York"). Since then, however, Danny has become friends with Lindsay. For the remainder of Season 2, their relationship is one of friendly competition and playful banter. In episode 302, "Not What It Looks Like," Danny's confused feelings towards Lindsay manifest themselves in his objection to her volunteering to go undercover, and his holding her close to him after the team rescues her. In the following episode, "Love Run Cold," he unsuccessfully tries to continue their relationship, but Lindsay casually stands him up for a date and refuses his efforts to offer her support.
In episode 318, "Sleight Out Of Hand," Danny is working multiple shifts in an effort to keep his mind off Lindsay, who had since returned to Bozeman to testify as the lone witness in a murder trial. After Mac sends an exhausted and borderline-delirious Danny home, Danny makes a spur of the moment decision to fly to Bozeman and arrives at the courthouse when Lindsay is on the stand. His presence gives her the confidence to finish her testimony, after having broken down on the stand once already. After the trial concludes with the conviction of the murder suspect, they hug and Lindsay tries to reel him in for a kiss but they are mobbed by reporters and it doesn't happen.
In the third season finale, "Snow Day," Danny and Lindsay have sex on the billiard table after an evening of drinking and playing pool at Danny's apartment. Also, eleven episodes into Season 4, it is still unclear as to whether Danny and Lindsay are actually dating since we have seen absolutely no proof of anything since their pool table tryst.

It was a tipical New York City day gloomie,cold,and looks like it was going to rain Danny Messer was siting in Lindsay's kitchin sipping on a hot cup of coffee waiting for Lindsay to wake up so they can get ready for work together it was 6:00 am. Danny remembers earler that night him and Linday alone having dinner then going to a movie and then coming back to Lindsay's place for drinks and desert it is after all he can do to make it up to her for they way he treated her after when his little buddy Ruben died Danny remembers Lindsay trying to comfort him and he walked away from her so she couldnt comfort him and he was ingnoring her all this time.How could he be so stupid to push away the person he loved so much but then he relized she did it to him so he knows how it feels to be pushed away by some one you love.Danny Lindsay called out he goes into the bedroom hey goodmornning he tells her did you sleep ok yea she tells him how about you I didn't sleep very much had a dream that you where mad at me and would'nt talk to me and then for no reason you left and went back to Montana and you did'nt say good bye why would I do that she asked him I was just dreaming they gave each other a kiss and got ready for work .They eat breakfast and head over to the lab. They barely get off the elevator Lindsay,Danny there you too are. Mac all ready has a case for them to work I need you to go over to Queen's they found a body an hour a go they go get there cases and head out they get to the scean and begin to prosess it when there was a big explosing from another room in the house there was a lot of smoke and debries in the air once the air had cleared Danny was looking for Lindsay.Lindsay Danny was yelling her name he starts looking for her under the debries he cant find her any where he begins to panick he starts yelling her name louder.Meanwhile out side Mac and Stella are at the scean Flack what the hell happened Mac ask him when they find him there was an explosing inside I was just to head back in it was a meth lab he tells them where are Danny and Lindsay Stella ask They where inside he tells her Oh god there is Danny he was limping towards them Stella,Mac where's Lindsay Stella ask him I dont know I couldnt find her she is still in there Stel I know she is in there some where Stella we have to find her he say's it over again I have to go back in and find her he tells them no they shout Flack holds him back no you cant goin there Danny he tells him it is too dangerues I love her Flack he cries into Flacks shoulder I love her so much I cant loose her I just cant he tells him they get Danny off to the hospital before he goes Danny ask Flack to stay with Lindsay and to tell her that he loves her I will Danny Flack

Carmine Giovinazzo's Proffile

Carmine Giovinazzo was born in Port Richmond, Staten Island. He comes from a family of NYPD police officers and has Italian, Norwegian and British ancestry. Growing up in the streets of Staten Island, Giovinazzo was an avid athlete; though he played many different sports, baseball and roller hockey were his preferences. He graduated from Port Richmond High School in 1991 and attended Wagner College. He had hoped to become a professional baseball player, but a serious back injury dashed his career plans, so, with the support of his family, he turned to acting. As a child, Giovinazzo participated in making short films, but remembers no particular time when he had the idea to start acting. "Before I knew it, I was running around Manhattan with a headshot and taking classes at HB Studios." He did several short films at NYU and SUNY, plus a few independent films before he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career further.

In 1997, Giovinazzo moved to Los Angeles. Not long after, he successfully landed his very first Hollywood role in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer pilot, in which his character was the show's first on-screen victim. Afterwards, he appeared in numerous guest-starring roles on television and in film, including Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss, For Love of the Game, The Big Brass Ring and Black Hawk Down. He was also cast as one of the stars of the short-lived UPN sitcom Shasta McNasty. Other films in which he had starring roles include Lions Gate Films' In Enemy Hands with William H. Macy, and Players, with Freddy Rodriguez and Peter Dobson.
Giovinazzo is currently cast as forensic scientist Danny Messer on the hit TV series CSI: NY. He often calls on his family for advice, as his father and sister were both NYPD officers. Danny is described as "passionate, with an urge to question all that is corrupt… a kid from the streets who studied and made good for himself." Giovinazzo is the first actor to appear in all three CSI series; his CSI: NY character was introduced in the CSI: Miami episode "MIA/NYC Nonstop" (along with the other cast members of CSI: NY) and he guest-starred in the third season of the original Las Vegas-based CSI as a street racer named Thumpy G in the episode "Revenge is Best Served Cold".

Part 1

It has been 6 months since Arthur Daniel Messer was born. Danny and Lindsay have been caught up in being new parents that they haven’t even started to organise their wedding. Danny and Lindsay are walking through central park with little Artie in his pram, they do not realise someone is watching them; someone is following them and watching their every move. They carry on walking until they get to The Lake. “Hey look Arthur look at the ducks aren’t they pretty!” say’s Danny, Arthur looks up at his father and laugh’s. “I think he likes them” Danny says. “Yeah I think he does” replies Lindsay. Danny’s phone starts beeping. “Ave got to Lind’s, work, I wont be to long I promise” and with that Danny gives Lindsay a kiss and he bends down to little Arthur and tickles him and gives him a BIG kiss and says “Goodbye lil man I wont be to long” Arthur giggles again, “you know Lind’s am gonna miss him like crazy, can I not just bring him into work with me? PLEASE?” “Nope, he’s staying with me, we are gonna do what you PROMISED we would do and that is feed the ducks. You know im going back to work next week and I won’t to spend as much time as I can with him.” “Ok then” Danny sulks. “Hey don’t look at me like that im doing nothing wrong, you’re the one who is abandoning your child” “wouldn’t if I could” Danny gives Lindsay another kiss “bye lil man am gonna miss you” Arthur laughs again “Bye Lind’s I promise I will be home for dinner” “Ok BUT if your not guess who’s butt is gonna be kicked” “mine” Danny gives Lindsay another kiss and then leaves. Lindsay bends down to Arthur and says “Your daddy’ll be back soon lets have some fun and show your dad what he’s missing. The person behind the bushes looks Longley at Lindsay wishing that they themselves were with her but they had plan to get her, to get rid of Danny out of the picture, so that could be together always but for now they would watch and learn. He was content in watching, for he could see his Lindsay and think to himself that they were going to be together and they were going to be together always. Lindsay pushed Arthur’s pram and starting walking away from the pond smiling to herself, not remembering when she was last this happy and with that she left central park, not knowing what was instore for her in the next few days.

Part 2

Danny arrives at the Lab. “What’s the rush Mac? You’ve made me miss a very important day with my son” “how important was it?” “He was seeing the ducky’s for the first time today” “sorry Danny but we need you here” “ok Mac, soo what is it?” “Well Danny for starters I would like to introduce you to our new lab tech Ciaran Dunn he has transferred over here from Bozeman, Montana.” “Hey there it’s nice to meet you. My name’s Danny, Danny Messer, it’s nice to meet you. Do you know Lindsay Monroe?” asks Danny. “Yeah we used to work together. How is she?” “She’s doing great she’s a Mommy now to my baby and we are getting married soon we just haven’t set the date yet. We’re just waiting for the right time.” “Hey that’s great news am glad she has finally found someone to take care of her.” Danny looks puzzled. “We’re friends, we liked to talk. She was always going on about how she couldn’t find a decent guy, im just glad that she has found someone that makes her happy” say’s Ciaran. “Thanks that means a lot from one of her friends.” “No problem, you sound like a nice guy. Hope you guy’s are very happy together.” “Thanks man” replies Danny. “So Mac, what crime scene have I got today?” “Danny, you’re working with Stella. There is a triple homicide out on Yonkers. Mother and her two children were murdered. Stella’s already at the scene.” “Ok Mac That’s me on my way. It was nice to meet you Ciaran I hope you enjoy working here” and with that Danny leaves. Out at the crime scene Stella is already processing when Danny arrives. “Hey glad you could make it. Have you scene the new guy yet?” “Yeah, he seems ok” “’He seems ok?’ don’t you like I thought with him knowing Lindsay you two would get on just great.” “I know I should get on with him and I want to like him but…” “But…” “I think being a parent has changed I mean he seems ok but would I really trust any that I don’t know to be in my house, more importantly to be around my child” “oh my god Danny, you have actually taking to the whole parent thing, admit it you love Artie” “I do, I love him sooo much and I would die if anything happened to him. So to get back on subject what happened here” “spoil sport, ok, Mother’s name is Carla, children’s name is Anthony and Marie, Marie is 12 and Anthony is 8, and Carla she’s 39, she would 40 tomorrow. Each has a gun shot wound to the head. That’s all I’ve got so far. So stop messing around and help me process the scene” “oh ok Stell are you like this with Mac in the bedroom” laughs Danny. “Hey, what me and Mac do is none of your business but I will forgive you for asking because I have been nosing in on your private life with Lindsay and I will whole heartedly say I am sorry for interfering in your life it won’t happen again. I promise.” “Hey it’s ok Stell I don’t mind I like it when you interfere, it lets me know that someone actually cares about me” “no probs Danny I promise I will interfere in EVERY part of your life for the rest of your life.” “Thanks Stell. Now let’s process the scene.” Back at the lab Lindsay arrives with Arthur and the first person she sees is Ciaran. “Hey you, long time no see. How are you? And what are you doing here?” “Hey to you too. Im fine and the answer to your second question is I moved here. When you were back in Montana you kept going on about how great New York was so I decided to move here” “Hey that’s great news you are going to love it here” “Yeah I know I will. So this must be the famous little guy that your fiancé keeps on going on about” “You’ve met Danny?” “Yeah I met him when he came in earlier. He seems nice” “Yeah he is. He’s great, he makes me so happy I could just bust” “Well don’t we don’t want the csi’s to process a crime scene at their own lab” laughs Ciaran. “Funny” Lindsay playfully punches Ciaran. Danny comes in with Stella. “If I didn’t know any better I would say you were making moves on my girl” laughs Danny. Lindsay gives Danny a kiss. “Hey you, yeah you know better. I just came in to tell you that my parents are coming up from Montana, they would like to meet your parents” Danny looks horrified “My parents? My…my….parents?” “Hey what’s wrong with that? Don’t you wanna meet my parents?” “I do Lindsay but….” “But what?” “My moms ok but my dad….he’s not the kind of guy that someone would want to introduce his fiancés parents too.” “Hey what’s wrong with your dad?” asks Stella. “His dad belongs to the Italian mob Stell.” Replies Mac. “Your dad’s a mobster? How the hell did you get into the police force?” asks Lindsay “well for starters yes my dad is a mobster, he in fact runs the Italian mob, he asked me to go into the family business I said no told I didn’t want to be any part of what they were doing. Then I signed up for the police academy I flat out told them who my father was and they happily let me join. I think they thought that I would give them info on my father. I didn’t. Part 3

That Wednesday Danny goes to pick Lindsay’s parents up from the airport. “Hi Danny it’s so nice to finally meet you. We’ve heard the voice but now we get to finally see the man behind the voice” say’s Lindsay’s mom Catriona. “Yeah, as Cat say’s it is really good to finally meet you. How is our lovely little grandson?” asks Lindsay’s dad Martin. “Hey, yeah he’s doing great just yesterday he tried to switch the channels on the TV. It’s not so fun when you are trying to watch a MET’s game.” Laughs Danny. “That’s my boy, always messing about with the things that are important to us men. Just wait until he’s older he’ll regret trying to switch over a MET’s game!” laughs Martin. “So Danny are we actually going to meet your parents today or tomorrow?” asks Catriona “Well Catriona” “Call me Cat” “Ok Cat, yeah we are gonna meet ma parents today we’re meeting them in about 2 hours to give you guy’s time to unpack and settle in I really hope you guys enjoy your stay here!” replies Danny. A couple of hours later Danny and Lindsay introduce Martin and Cat to Danny’s parents. “Cat, Martin I would like to introduce you to my mom Carla and my dad Tony, mom, dad, this is Cat and Martin Lindsay’s parents.” “it’s a pleasure to meet you both Lindsay talks about you guys a lot, about how much she misses you too.” Says Carla. “Well thank you, well we have heard a lot about you Carla but not Tony” Tony gives Danny a dirty look “You don’t talk about me? What the hell is your problem then? I gave you everything that you ever wanted and you treat me like this! What kind of son are you?” shouts Tony “Look dad I didn’t mean any offence but you haven’t spoken more than 10 words to me in the last 8 years and you expect me to big you up? Huh? It ain’t gonna happen. Like hell did you give me everything that I ever wanted, mom gave me the one thing that I wanted and needed and that was love. You, you were never there for me when I needed you the most you were always there for the fun times, me and Louie needed a father and we got you a no good for nothing waste of space who’s idea of a job is selling drugs and illegal gambling and god knows what else so don’t you yell at me coz I will hit you and you know it. You’ve hated me since I joined the police, you and your ‘little people’ get the hell of of your high horse and leave my family alone coz frankly dad we don’t need you!!!!!!!!!!!!” Danny yells and storms of. Tony heads in pursuit of Danny. He is watching them smiling to himself, laughingly he tells himself “you sure know how to pick them Lindsay”. He knows the opportunity he has been waiting for will be arising shortly; his ‘family’ will be complete but for now he will watch, watch as the drama unfolds. He thinks to himself “why are you with him Lindsay? When you could be with me? I would treat you the way that you should be treated, not storming of when you need me the most. He can’t love you the way that I could love you” and with that he leaves to follow Danny, trying to see if an opportunity arises to take out the man who stands in his way.

Part 4

Danny’s father catches up with him. “What the hell is your problem?” “YOU, you are my problem, just stay out of my life ok? Me, Lindsay and Arthur don’t NEED you, you’re NOTHING to us. Just stay out of our lives.” “So I don’t mean nothing to you? Then why did you name your son after your grandpapa? Huh? Danny one day you are gonna wake up and realize that im dead and you can’t change the past. Stop blaming me for all your problems ok? Im just one man, Danny, I can’t take care of you and your problems. I love you Danny but you get me so mad sometimes, Danny it’s time to relies that the world doesn’t revolve around you” “doesn’t revolve around me! DOESN’T REVOLE AROUND ME!!!!!!!!!! You have clearly lost the plot dad, I DON’T think the world revolves around me, I take care of my family, your family, and im accused of only thinking about myself. Do you know how many sacrifices I have made for you, for mom? Huh? I sacrificed my work for my family. Do you know how many times I have almost got fired because I wouldn’t turn against you. There is too many times to count. So don’t give me a lecture when its you yourself that needs the lecture on what they really care about!” and with that Danny storms of around the corner and dragged into a car by him. “What the hell” Danny says as he is bundled into the car. “DANNY” screams his father as the car races of. “Guess opportunity knocked” laughs him to himself. Meanwhile back at the café Lindsay and that are getting worried about Danny and Tony, Lindsay is fussing over Artie to take her mind of everything. Tony walks back in, he has a look of shock on his face. “What’s wrong?” worries Lindsay “Is it Danny please tell me he’s alright?” “We need to call the cops” stutters Tony “You didn’t answer my question” asks Lindsay “Its Danny he…he was kidnapped I think” “What do you mean you think he was kidnapped!” demands Lindsay “He was bundled into a car a couple of minutes after he stormed of, so we have to call the cops” Lindsay starts panicking “He’s gonna be ok Lindsay” say’s Carla. “This can’t happen again, not now, after all we’ve been through” whispers Lindsay. After a 2 hour drive Danny and Him arrive at there destination. “Where are we” Danny thinks to himself. “Don’t flinch, don’t move, don’t try to escape: your never gonna get out of here alive. You have something that I want and I will get her, even if it’s the last thing I do.” Says him. “Now let’s see. You took what I wanted and now you are going to pay. NOBODY takes what I want.” Screams Him. Back at the police department, Flack comes over to Lindsay and co, “we have patrol out looking for him, the car and the son of a b**** who took Danny. Now normally NYPD don’t work with the mob but on this case we will make an exception.” Flack looks at Danny’s Dad. “So tell me what happened?” “Well Dect. Flack, we were having an argument” “What was your argument about?” “About how my son is an inconsiderate piece of s***” “Tony!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don’t you dare talk about our son like that!!!!!!!!!!!” shouts Carla. “Look I will talk about our son anyway I want. Do I feel guilty that the last time I saw him we were fighting? Yes, do I wish things had turned out different? Yes, Do I wish I could have stop the car and saved our son? Yes, ok Carla are you happy now!? I would do ANYTHING to get him back ok! Now excuse me I have to go and save our son!”

Part 5

Tony arrives at the Italian Mafia headquarters with a look of concern on his face. “What is boss?” asks a member of the organization. “My son has been kidnapped. I want you and a couple of the boys to check up on a couple of things for me” “sure boss whatever you need” “Ok, first of, I want you to track down this car registration number LM25 ILU, secondly, find out of anybody has been planning to take my son. Ok” “On it boss” “Oh and Larry” “Yeah boss?” “Don’t tell Louie” “Wont boss”. Tony goes into his office and shuts the door and picks up his phone and dials a number. The phone answers. “Hello, its Tony, Tony Benedetti Messer, we need to talk meet me at the Quality Café in 20 minutes.” And with that Tony hangs up the phone. Back at the Lab Mac and co are trying to figure out a way to find Danny. “Hey you guys, have you tried his cell?” asks Adam. “No we haven’t. I think we should try that now” Mac GPRS his cell number. “It’s currently switch on, its location is at 97th St at 2nd Ave. Lets go people” Mac says. “Wait a minute Mac; I know that address that’s where my uncle used to live.” Replies Lindsay. “Well someone knows there is a connection to you, maybe this isn’t about Danny Lindsay maybe it’s about you” replies Mac. Mac calls Flack and tells him and the rest of the PD to meet him at that address. Back at the house where he is held hostage Danny starts to aggravate his kidnapper. “What do you want from me?” Danny says. “You have something that I want and I will take her from you, you don’t deserve her, you are worthless, she would be better of with me” replies Him. “Lindsay…..you want Lindsay? You can’t have her. You are sooooooooo crazy. She would never go with a guy like you. If she cared about you sooooo much why isn’t she with you? Huh? Tell me that!!!!!!!!!” At that moment He lashes out and strikes Danny in the face and screams “You don’t know anything!!!!!!!!!” At the Quality Café Tony is sitting in a both waiting on his guest to arrive, just then he walks through. Tony signals to him, the man sits down. “What do you want Tony? If I’m seen with you that’s the end of my career” says Dect. Donald Flack SNR. “Well I thought it was best for us to have a little chat don’t you Donny?” “What’s this all about Tony?” “Someone has taking my son Don or should I say your son. I want you to help me find him” “Look Tony, the PD already have a location to search for him, through his cell, ok there is nothing I can do” “well I will tell you something that you can do Don and that is tell your family before I do. Danny deserves to know the truth and I am going to tell him” “But you can’t Tony. Please just don’t tell anyone. My son is friends with Danny and when he finds out………. I dread to think what will happen” “Look im going to lose my son anyway might as well make you lose your son too” and with that Tony gets up and walks out of the Café. The PD arrives at the house suddenly gunfire erupts. “Everybody Get Down” shouts Flack. A voice screams out. “Go away I will KILL him if you don’t” “What do you want?” screams Flack. A hand points to Lindsay and shouts “Her” “Don’t do it Lindsay” everybody hears Danny scream out. SWAT moves in and shot the perp. He screams in agony. SWAT enters the house and rescue Danny and remove him. “Do you know him?” asks Flack to Lindsay. “Yeah he’s…he’s an ex boyfriend of mine from Montana. He’s Ciaran’s Brother Flack. His name is Jason, Jason Dunn.” Replies Lindsay. “Well he won’t be hurting you or Danny anytime soon.” Replies Flack. Just then a new recruit comes up to Mac. “Hi Dect. Taylor im Louise Stevenson from Glasgow your new CSI” “Welcome Louise im looking forward to working with you” replies Mac. Flacks mobile rings. “Dect. Flack im calling to inform you that you have a big brother out there. Your father slept with my wife over 30 years ago and my son was the result of it. You may know him. His name is Danny, Danny Messer. I just thought you would like to know Danny doesn’t know and I would appreciate it if you wouldn’t tell him until I do” and with that the phone hangs up.

Part 6

A couple of hours later Flack meets up with Tony. “Is it true? Danny’s my brother?” “Yes, its true, Danny is your brother Don. You had to know.” “How…how did it happen?” “Well over 30 years ago my wife got into a little trouble and your dad came to her rescue. You dad was already married to your mom at that point Don. Anyway my idiotic wife invites your father into the house for a drink one thing leads to another and my son is the result” “How to do you that Danny isn’t yours?” “Because I was away in Italy with Louie, I was introducing my son to his family for the first time. Carla didn’t want to come. “I have work to go to Tony”. But she did let me take Louie. “It’s about time you spent some quality time with your son” she says, more like playing away behind my back!” “So….when are you going to tell Danny?” “First of he may be mine BUT I think he may not be and I want you to run a DNA test for me” “How am I supposed to do that?” “You’re a smart guy Don. Figure it out” and with that Tony leaves. At the lab 30 minutes later Flack arrives at the lab and goes straight to Adam. “Adam, I know this is kinda rude but could you do me a huge favour” “How huge?” “Life altering, I need you to run this DNA sample for me.” “Sure Flack, who’s DNA do you want me to run it against?” “Danny’s please!” “Ok I shall have the results in about a couple of hours if I rush it” “Thanks Adam you’re a great guy!” “No probs Flack” At the Hospital Danny has been giving the all clear to go home. “You sure doc?” “Positive, go home, rest and spent some time with your wife” “We’re not married just yet. We’re engaged.” “Congratulations” “Thanks Doc.” Danny leaves the hospital room. Mac comes up to him. “Shouldn’t you be in a hospital bed?” “Nope, the doc has giving me the all clear.” “Well let’s get you home to your family.” “Aren’t they at the lab?” “Yes mister smarty pants they are” “Then lets go” replies Danny. Back at the PD Danny arrives. Lindsay runs up and gives him a hug. “Your ok?” “Yeah, am fine Doc says I need to rest but other than that am doin great!” “Lind’s I was think that with all that’s happening we could actually start our wedding preparations.” “Yeah sure I’d love that!” replies Lindsay. Flacks phone rings. “Hello, this is Dect. Flack.” “Don, it’s Adam, I’ve got the DNA results in, could you come up to the lab.” “Sure” replies Flack. Flack arrives at Adams lab. “Soooooooooooo, what are the results?” “The DNA you gave me is a partial match to Danny’s” “What does that mean?” “Well, the DNA you gave indicates that Danny and this persons DNA are related, like a brother or father or even a son. Whose DNA did you give me?” “Mine” whispers Flack. Adam looks shocked. “So Danny’s your brother?” “Yep, he must be. Adam don’t tell Danny he’s been through a lot right now” “Ok….how did you know he was your brother?” “His father told or should I say his step father told me” “Woooo” “Woooo indeed” Flack walks away, then he takes out his cell phone and dials Tony’s number. Tony answers. “Hello?” “Hello Tony, this is Don, Don Flack JNR, the DNA results are back.” “And?” “He’s not your son.” “Oh” “Just letting you know, I thought it was best to tell you first.” “Thanks for letting me know” “No probs” Flack hangs up his phone. A couple of days later Danny gets a phone call from his dad and is asked to meet him in Central Park. “Hey, what’s up dad?” “Danny there’s something that I have to tell you.” “What is it dad?” “That’s the thing Danny I’m not your dad” “WHAT!” “There is no easy way to say this Danny, your mom had an affair on me and you were the result of that affair.” “Then who is my dad?” “His name is Donald Flack SNR” “WHAT! Then that means Flacks my…my brother?” “Yes, Don already knows I asked him to run a DNA test, I was hoping that it would say that you are my son but it didn’t” “You already told him” “Yes, but Danny I want you to know that you are still my son no matter what. DNA doesn’t mean anything to me. I raised you.” “Thanks dad thanks for telling me first.” And with that Danny storms of.

Part 7

It’s been a couple of months since the revelation that Flack was Danny’s brother. Everybody was shocked to here about that, how two best friends are now brothers, but Danny decided to throw caution to the wind and asked Flack to be one of his best men. “Sure I would love too. Are you sure about that?” “Yeah, I was gonna ask you before all this come out. Just so you know Louie is gonna be the other best man. I was best man at his wedding its only fair that I make him best man at mine.” “Well when you put it like that I have to agree” “Yep” “What about my dad…I mean our dad…is he gonna be at the wedding?” “Nope, he’s not my father...I mean he IS my dad but the dad I want at my wedding is gonna be Tony” “Ok” Stella and Lindsay are at Lindsay’s apartment. “Stell, there is something I want to ask you.” “Sure fire away” “Stella will you be my maid of honour?” “Yeah, well thank you Lindsay” “No probs” Stella and Lindsay hug. It’s the day of Danny and Lindsay’s wedding. Everybody is gathered under a canopy in Strawberry Fields in Central Park. Danny looks dashing in his suit. Flack and Louie are by his side. “I never thought I see the day when ma lil bro settled down n get married!” says Louie. “Times have changed, I’ve grown up” “More like you’ve actually met someone that will put up with your craziness!” Laughs Flack. “Funny guys, funny, I love Arthur and I love Lindsay, I’ve finally found someone that makes me happy” “We’re just teasing Danny. We’re really happy for you guys” “Thanks, Louie, Don it means a lot.” “No probs” Back in Lindsay’s dressing area, Stella and Catriona enter. “WOW Lindsay you look….you look amazing!!!!!!!!” “Really?” “Really” says Stella. Lindsay is wearing an of the shoulder diamond sequined dress with a puffed out skirt and on in hair she has a diamond studded Tiara and diamantes’ in her hair and is wearing a veil. She looks absolutely radiant. “It’s my big im just sooooooooooo excited!!!!!! Please tell me Danny looks ok?” “Cant tell you that Lind’s it’ll spoil the surprise!” “Ok I will just have to wait till I walk down the aisle.” Just than Martin comes in holding Arthur. Arthur looks soooooooooo cute in the mini version of his dad’s suit. “Woooooo he looks cute!” say’s Stella “He takes after his dad” replies Lindsay. “Let’s get this show on the road!” says Martin. Everybody awwwwwwwwwwwww’s in amazement when Lindsay walks down the aisle.
